Underwater Kinetic Aqualite S20 Dive Light

Overview

To get the best illumination on your underwater pathway and objects, a scuba diver needs a very powerful dive light. A good example of that is the Aqualite S 20° photo/video light.  In this Underwater Kinetic Aqualite S20 review, we will be discussing how it is an excellent choice of perfect underwater lighting for photography/video or just illuminating a scuba divers’ path.

The Aqualite S20 is designed to work between three power settings so that a user can alternate between them and maximize the light for optimal use. It allows you to get the ideal amount of light for your diving needs at every point in time. With a wide 20° beam perfect for wide-angle video cameras like GoPro or any other camera of choice, a diver can make the most of their diving experience with this flashlight.  Use the versatile included mounting options for tons of flexibility in your lighting setups, including many possible GoPro mounts.

All the light needed for a dive in the palm of your hand. Aqualite-S 20 is UK’s latest handheld, powerful primary dive light. The narrow concentrated 20° beam reduces backscatter and works ideally as a primary light. With three power settings adjustable with an easy push button tail switch, you can always choose the ideal amount of light for your needs. With a maximum battery life of 9 hours, there’s always plenty of light for your dive. Use the included rugged hand mount for the maximum ease of hands-free underwater lighting. A fully adjustable wrist strap that allows you to aim the light wherever you are pointing your hand, it’s ideal for divers due to its low profile and light weight while shining the maximum 500 lumens anywhere you need it.

Underwater Kinetic Aqualite S20 Review

The light has a push button tail switch with 3-power settings or modes of high, medium and low. The brightness levels from high to low are 500 to 200 lumens. This light is designed as a primary dive light, but also makes a great camera housing spot or focus light. The light is powered by an included single rechargeable 2600 mAH lithium ion battery and includes a USB cable and battery charger. The light provides a burn time of 1.5-hours in high mode, 5.6-hours in medium mode and 9-hours in low mode. Light has a durable corrosion resistant Hydralum lamp head with a high-intensity eLED lamp with 7 watts of power. The Aqualite S 20° is depth rated to 330′ (100 meters), measures 5″ x 1.5″ x 1.5″ (12.7cm x 3.81cm x 3.81cm) and weighs 6.4oz (181.44g).
