Cressi Gorilla Pro XL Duffel Bag Review

Overview

We all know that hauling our scuba gears to and from the dive sites can be quite exhilarating, the problem, however, is how to get those gears comfortably to the diving location. In this Cressi Gorilla Pro XL Duffel Bag Review, we will be shedding more light on the comfort and functions that this super-duper dive bag delivers. By all standards, I believe that this is one bag that truly lives up to the idea of having the ability to ‘comfortably carry all your diving gear and still have room for more.’ Now, let us meet the Gorilla Pro XL Duffel.

As have been pointed out earlier, the Gorilla Pro extra-large duffel bag from Cressi is one amazingly large and spacious bag that also can be very handy in handling. Very few bags can hold your scuba diving fins because of relatively small size. But that is not the same with the Gorilla Pro XL. Merely seeing the bag, you know that you can fit all of your gears in it, including your long fins, bulky wetsuits, and every other thing you need to go diving. This is owed to the big size and spacious interior features of the Gorilla XL.

Made from stable radio frequency welded seam PVC which is highly waterproof. With this, you are assured that your gears are safely protected in the bag in the course of transporting from your home to the dive site. The fact that the bag is made with high-grade PVC materials makes it much stronger and durable for divers to use. Given this material type, the bag can be dipped in water without fear of damage. So, you can rinse your gears while they are still in the bag.

The special drain hole positioned at the corner of the bag allows the rinsing water to drain easily thus getting all the water out with no hassle. By this, your gears can dry off while in transit back from the dive site without fear of getting your things wet from carrying soaked gears in your bag.

For comfortable carrying around, the Gorilla Pro XL Duffel bag has top handles and two straps besides that can double as shoulder straps in case you need to carry the bag over your shoulder. By this provision, Cressi makes sure that users of the Gorilla XL Pro have a high level of comfort using the bag and above all, they can do so with the much-needed convenience that all divers desire in transporting their scuba gear to and from the dive sites.

For easy access to the content of the bag, there is a full-length rugged YKK zip that cuts across the middle of the bag. The zipper is covered with a Velcro closure sealed flap that makes sure that the bag stays properly closed when you are moving. With this, you can conveniently pack your diving gears into the bag and retrieve them without any fuss when you need to. The zipper has a flap attached so that you can easily pull to open or close the bag.

In measurement, the Cressi Gorilla XL Pro Duffel combines some 37.4inches by 13inche by 16inches for its length, width and height dimensions. By all standards, this is big enough to contain all the needed gear that a diver may be required when gooing diving. Then, the bag holds a volume of 8,442 cubic inches i.e. 138.34 liters interior space and it weighs approximately 3.8 lbs. (1.72 kg) when empty.
